| Wars and rumours of wars America ready for Iranian strike 31/12/05 |
The prospect of an American sponsored strike on the Iranian nuclear
facilities seems to be growing stronger by the day. Iranian knowledge of the
nuclear bomb is just months away from being perfected, and talks between
Iran and the E3 (Britain, France and Germany) are due to conclude in March.
It is rumoured that Israel has also been contemplating how a strike on Iran
could be carried out successfully, should the diplomatic option fail.
Quote: "According to the report, CIA chief Porter Gus, in his last visit to Turkey on December 12, requested Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan to provide military bases to the United States in 2006 from where they would be able to launch an assault. The German news agency DDP also noted that countries neighboring Iran, such as Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Oman, and Pakistan were also updated regarding to supposed plan. American sources sent to those countries apparently mentioned an aerial attack as a possibility, but did not provide a time frame for the operation. Should the world get it wrong, and the talks stall and any pre-emptive strike fails, we could have a very dangerous situation. An Iran with a nuclear capability, and a perceived occupation by the its two main enemies in neighbouring nations, Iraq and Israel. Is it only really a matter of time before nuclear war does break out? Look at the nations that have recently acquired the capability. India and Pakistan, both enemies. North Korea. Now possibly Iran. Not mentioning those that already have the weaponry. Russia and China, against America and the UK. France. Israel. Things aren't going to get better any time soon. Source Jerusalem Post |

| Persecution Police on high alert in France 31/12/05 |
Dozens of police helicopters and 25,000 policemen are on high alert in France,
ready to quell any sporadic violence from those poor, underprivileged French
men during the New Year festivities. These rioters are so deprived, that
they can only afford to speed about in cars and motor bikes, and use
mobile phones to text their friends and incite wanton violence.
Quote: "Interior Minister Nicolas Sarkozy met with police Saturday afternoon and said that officials had decided to mobilize helicopters because they played a "decisive role" in stopping the riots. At the time, helicopters equipped with spotlights and video cameras were used to track bands of marauding youths who sped from attack to attack in cars and on motorbikes. "The orders I have given are very strict," Sarkozy said. "When there are delinquent acts there will be arrests. Those guilty must be accountable for their acts." Apparently France is particularly troubled at this time of year, and expects around 300 car burnings on New Year's eve alone. The whole situation makes me sick, how the media can pan this off as being caused by disgruntled French citizens who have nothing better to do than to wreak havoc on everyone else because they are poor. Can't we handle the truth, that Islam is not the peace loving religion that Tony Blair tried to make us all believe it is? Source Jerusalem Post |

| Revived Roman Empire Happy New Year from Solana 31/12/05 |
Javier Solana, the High Representative for the European Common, Foreign and
Security Policy, has given his New
Year's message, in which he outlined the future for Serbia and
Montenegro, and the future status of Kosovo. Javier Solana said that
Serbia-Montenegro must extradite Ratko Mladic and Radovan Karadzic in 2006,
if they want to progress towards becoming part of the European Union.
Quote: "In his New Year’s message, published in weekly NIN, Solana said that Serbia-Montenegro will be facing many obstacles, and added that Serbia-Montenegro politicians must show that they are united in their strategic goals for the future of the nation. “The EU expects that, in the coming year, Serbia-Montenegro will make progress in its stabilization and association discussions, the Kosovo status question, and in clearly defining the future of the union of Serbia and Montenegro. The future of the union is at the centre of the EU’s attention, the right to hold a referendum for independence is a guaranteed possibility according to the constitutional charter, but the referendum must be held in accordance with international, democratic standards and in cooperation with the EU. Likewise, the Government and opposition in Montenegro must reach an agreement on the referendum.” Solana said. Source B92 |

| Wars and rumours of wars Sino-Japanese relations strain 31/12/05 |
Relations between Japan
and China have continued to strain in the last few weeks, causing Japan
to consider increasing defences of the outlying islands. Japan is also
conducting negotiations with India, another nuclear power in the region, to
counter-balance China's increasing military might.
Quote: "To strengthen its ability to repulse a possible Chinese invasion of the disputed East China Sea islands, Japan's Self-Defense Forces will conduct joint exercises with the US Marine Corps in January and develop short-range torpedoes for combat in shallow waters, the business newspaper Nihon Keizai Shimbun reported. The report came days after Japanese Foreign Minister Taro Aso said Beijing poses "a considerable military threat" because it has nuclear weapons and is boosting its military spending. China called the remarks irresponsible and groundless. Earlier on in the year Chinese and Russian forces held a joint military exercise for the first time in history, that lasted for several weeks and included manoeuvres in the Chinese straits. The US also released a report on Chinese military spending which concluded that China posed a considerable threat, as it is increasing its military budget in spite of having no enemies in the region. But those who know their Bibles believe that China will have a big part to play in the end times, possibly helping to amass an army over 200 million strong, which will march against Israel and the Antichrist during the tribulation period. | Wars and rumours of wars Russian nuke chief to visit Iran in February 31/12/05 |
The chief Russian nuclear scientist is planning to visit Iran
in February of next year to co-ordinate the completion of the Russian-built
nuclear power station. The development may put further impetuous into
ongoing negotiations between Iran and the E3 (Britain, France and Germany)
over Iran's nuclear ambitions.
Quote: "Sergei Kiriyenko, head of the Federal Atomic Energy Agency, is expected to focus on a schedule for the completion of the Bushehr nuclear plant Russia is building in southern Iran, his spokesman Sergei Novikov said. "Issues relating to Russia's proposal to Iran to move its enrichment program to Russian territory will be discussed as well," Novikov told The Associated Press. Israel believes Iran currently constitutes the biggest threat to Middle East peace. Iran believes it has a right to possess nuclear knowledge for its own people - many intelligence analysts believe it may be only months away from acquiring. Iran also desires to obtain nuclear weapons to form a counter-balance for Israel's nuclear armament, which includes many neutron bombs. Israel has stated it will not be the first to use nuclear weapons in the gulf, but with Iran's support for terrorism and recent comments calling for the state of Israel to be "wiped off the map", the Iranians might just be mad enough to use them. | Gog and Magog Russia threatens to cut gas to Ukraine and Europe 30/12/05 |
A new energy crisis is threatening to begin this Sunday, as Russia warns it
may cut gas
supplies to the Ukraine, over the nation's refusal to pay higher prices.
Russia believes the Ukraine should be paying international prices for gas,
seeing it now plans to join the EU. This would result in the Ukraine paying
four times as much for gas as it does currently. Not only would gas reserves for the
Ukraine be affected, but also for all Europe. Political analysts believe
Russia is attempting to exert regional and international dominance using the
West's need for energy.
Quote: "At 10am on Sunday, Russia is threatening to unleash the most powerful weapon in its post-Soviet arsenal: unless Ukraine agrees to a fourfold increase in the price it pays for gas, Russia will simply turn off the tap. Nor is it just Ukraine under threat — the EU imports about half of its gas from Russia and 80 per cent of that comes through Ukrainian pipelines. So when President Putin met Ivan Plachkov, the Ukrainian Energy Minister, in Moscow yesterday, there was more at stake than relations between the neighbouring states. Analysts fear the dispute could provide a foretaste of how Russia will use its massive oil and gas reserves as a foreign policy tool in future disputes with the West. “Energy co-operation has replaced military might as the mainstay of Russia’s international credibility,” Chris Weafer, chief strategist at Alfa Bank in Moscow, said. “It is using its importance as an energy partner to pursue its geopolitical and foreign policy agenda.” This situation is exactly what my Polish friend Marcin predicted would happen back in September, after Moscow revealed its plans to build a Baltic Sea pipeline. Just as Ezekiel prophesied, Gog is starting to "think an evil thought". Russia desires to rebuild its lost Soviet Empire, and with Russia's flailing economy, one of the ways to do that is to control world energy reserves. Ezekiel 38:10-12 Source Times Online |

| Wars and rumours of wars Britain reveals UK nuclear attack procedures 30/12/05 |
In the event of a major nuclear
attack on the UK, the British government has revealed that Britons were to
be told via a television broadcast, "There is no point in trying to escape". Thirty years
ago, during the height of the Cold War with Russia, there were no plans for
a mass evacuation of the population in the event of a nuclear attack. The government
would be evacuated to underground shelters, which were to be staffed by
civil servants, while parliament rushed through emergency legislation,
giving the government sweeping powers over manpower, transport,
communications and food.
Quote: "According to the 30-year-old files - described by historians as the "most secret" to be released by the National Archive at Kew to date - Russia had so many nuclear warheads trained on Britain that around 12 million citizens would have been wiped out. People would have been urged to stay indoors while all radio and television were to be replaced by an emergency BBC broadcast telling them: "There is nothing to be gained by trying to get away". These plans are a solemn reminder of the situation plainly described in Scripture, that will occur before and when Christ returns to set up His Kingdom. Joel 2:30-31 Zechariah 14:12 All these effects can be created by nuclear weapons. Fire and pillars of smoke remind us of the great mushroom cloud that is created by the nuclear bomb. The resulting air pollution darkens the sky for days and can turn the moon into a blood-red colour. The flesh, eyes and tongue all consuming away may be from the sheer heat of the nuclear blast, which travels faster than the explosion itself, and kills people while they stand on their feet. | Peace agreement Temple Mount should be under international control 30/12/05 |
...At least, that's what a slim majority of Israelis believe should happen,
to help bring about peace in the Middle East.
Quote: "In contrast, a slim majority, 53% to 47%, responded that as part of a peace agreement with the Palestinians, they would be willing to pass the Temple Mount to international control, as long as Israel maintained control of the Western Wall. The margin of error for the survey was 4.5%. After the Six Day war, when Israel took complete control of Jerusalem for the first time in 1900 years, they handed control of the Temple Mount straight back into Jordanian hands. Some Christians and Jews believe this event was what brought about the forced Gaza disengagement, which occurred exactly 40 years later (40 always speaks of judgement in Scripture). Many saw the Gaza disengagement as a punishment from God on the nation for giving God's land back to their enemies. Possibly the Temple Mount would fair better under international control that in the hands of the Jordanian Waqf who currently administer the site. The Muslim Waqf routinely destroy ancient archaeological artefacts dating from the First and Second Temples. No Jew is permitted to pray on the Temple Mount, or even carry the Scriptures or any other religious symbol, for fear of causing a Muslim uprising. The fact that even Israelis now believe losing the Temple Mount may be an essential part of creating stability in the region shows us how close we are to the events spoken of by Daniel. In Daniel 9:27, the Antichrist permits the Jewish Temple to be rebuilt, possibly under some sort of international agreement, and later defiles it when he sits in the Temple and proclaims himself to be God. | Peace agreement EU observers flee Rafah border 30/12/05 |
When the going gets tough, the tough... shut up shop and run for their
lives. It's not what's supposed to happen, but today, after Palestinian
police men started firing shots into the air in protest over the killing of
a fellow officer, that's exactly what the new EU
border monitors decided was the best course of action.
Quote: "The European observers - responsible for monitoring the crossing and ensuring the terms of an Israeli-Palestinian agreement are upheld - fled to an IDF base near the Gaza-Israel border, fearing the situation was spinning out of control, the officials said. The takeover is the latest in a rash of armed kidnappings and takeovers of government buildings that underscore the lawlessness in Gaza and Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas' inability to bring order to the coastal area following this summer's pullout. There is still no word on the British woman who was kidnapped by an armed Palestinian gang a few weeks ago. This event today shows just how fragile the situation in the Gaza strip is becoming, with the Palestinian Authority ceding political power to Hamas, the police unable to control continuing terrorist attacks on Israel, and now al-Qaeda agents believed to be operating from Gaza. | Revived Roman Empire Austrian EU "sex-posters" causes fury 29/12/05 |
Austria is already making the headlines just days after taking the
presidency of the European Union, for all the wrong reasons. The reason
being, the Austrian promotion of its presidency of the EU, called "25
peaces", depicts naked people
posing in sexual acts, wearing only the face masks of world leaders. Another
picture depicts a woman's private parts, with the EU flag emblazoned on her
underwear. Unfortunately the pictures are far too graphic to be displayed on
my website. The posters, which are being displayed throughout Vienna, are
costing the European taxpayer a whopping 1 million euros.
Quote: "The posters are part of a larger partly-publicly funded project '25 Peaces' celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Austrian republic and its ten years of membership of the EU. Taxpayers are contributing 10 percent of the total 10 million euro project, while the rest of the money is from private sponsors. Sadly this is Europe displaying its "true colours". When you have a parliament building modelled to the shape of the tower of Babel, and a picture of the harlot goddess Europa etched on the back of your coinage, is it really any wonder when you start producing pictures of debauchery to promote your godless confederacy? Europe, I believe, is bringing its sins to the full, before God judges the nations for their wickedness, and the Antichrist who they worship. Daniel 8:23 Source EU Observer |

| Wars and rumours of wars Lebanese rockets - made by Russia, bought by Syria 29/12/05 |
A few days ago, Northern Israel came under another salvo of rocket attacks
from Hezbollah terrorists in Lebanon. Two houses were damaged, but
thankfully nobody was killed. Israel launched an immediate reprisal attack
in South Lebanon against Hezbollah. But examination of the missiles
fired into Israel has revealed a worrying development. These missiles were
made in Russia, sold to Syria, and ended up in the hands of terrorists in
Lebanon.
Quote: ""Hizbullah is using rocket-propelled grenades that were bought by Syria from Russia," Maj. Gen. Aharon Zeevi-Farkash, the head of army intelligence, told Yediot. "The real faces of Russia and Syria have been revealed," Zeevi-Farkash told Yediot. "They buy weapons with the commitment not to transfer them and then these weapons are brazenly used against us." If Syria is willing to transfer Russian-made missiles to groups like Hezbollah, to carry out attacks against Israel, how long will it be before they are willing to transfer nuclear weaponry to terrorists, in order to carry out attacks without implicating Syria? And the fact that Russia has now been implicated in the scandal only reveals how close we are to the fulfilment of Ezekiel 38-39, were a Russian/Arab coalition marches on Israel and is wiped out by Divine intervention. | Wars and rumours of wars Suicide bomber strikes West Bank 29/12/05 |
A suicide
bomber was stopped at a surprise IDF check point in the West Bank today,
after intelligence received warnings that such attacks were being planned.
It was believed the suicide bomber was on his way to an Israeli part of the
West Bank, but didn't manage to reach his final destination, where much more
devastation could have been inflicted. One Israeli was killed in the blast
along with a possibly three or four Palestinians.
Quote: "A suicide bomber detonated himself at a surprise IDF roadblock south of Tulkarm, near Shavei Shomron. The bomber was driven in a taxi to the area, and when he exited the vehicle, soldiers asked him to open his coat. He refused, and set off his explosives. There were reports that at least four Palestinians were killed in the attack, though it was unclear whether the count included the bomber. The Islamic Jihad claimed responsibility for the attack, which wounded both Israelis and Palestinians. This attack emphasizes the ever-pressing need for Israeli road blocks, in spite of world opinion that these road blocks "infringe" on human rights. In Northern Ireland, we experienced a similar sort of threat, and road blocks coupled with random searches in major shopping centres were frequently used at the height of the troubles here. But then why should we trust world opinion. It's only been 60 years since "world opinion" was that no country should harbour Jews during a war that saw over 6 million of them slain. | Morals Swedish Lutherans back gay marriage 28/12/05 |
The Russian Orthodox Church has severed links with the Swedish
Lutheran Church after it decided to officially recognize gay marriage.
Quote: "The members of the Synod (of the Russian Orthodox) believe that the Church of Sweden’s decision contradicts the Biblical concept of family and marriage “and the testimonies of the Holy Writing leave us no doubt that homosexuality is considered a sin and ’confusion’,” the statement says. I find it amazing, that the very churches that are steeped in religious idolatry, namely the Roman Catholic and Orthodox, should be the only ones prepared to stand up for the principles of Scripture, while the "evangelical" churches that came through the reformation, namely the Anglican and Lutherans, have been the first ones to jump on the homosexual band-wagon of this "modern society". Will it be politically correct to celebrate gay marriage when Jesus reigns on earth? Source Moscow News |

| Revived Roman Empire EU launches new satellite for GMES 28/12/05 |
Europe launched a new satellite into orbit today, called Glove-A or Galileo,
marking the beginning of its controversial GMES
programme. The GMES system will be comprised of a network of satellites
that, by 2010, will form the backbone of a European communication system.
The world currently uses the American-based GPS system for navigational
aids, but Europe wants to develop its own network, in an effort to negate
what is perceived as unwanted US dominance in the region. That may also be
the motive behind the recent probing of CIA flights over Europe. GMES will
also provide a "spy in the sky" for the European Commission, who
will use the network to monitor compliance of European treaties, and secure
borders. And it wouldn't surprise me if GMES ends up being a key component
for the 2010 Headline Goal, an EU military response group capable of being
launched anywhere in the world within 5-10 days.
Quote: "In few years' time, a small Galileo chip will be integrated in mobile phones, giving users the ability to pinpoint restaurants, hotels, movie theatres, hospitals or car parks. Galileo will deliver the tools national governments need to introduce wide-scale road charging. The network will also underpin Europe's new air-traffic control system. The single European sky initiative will overhaul current technologies used to keep planes at safe separations, and allow pilots to fly their own routes and altitudes. All the benefits listed above are made possible by Galileo's new technology, which is capable of pinpointing a location anywhere on earth within 1 metre. The chip won't only give you the location of any facility in the world, it will also enable Europe to locate any mobile phone user on the planet, by providing a direct link to Europe's GPS system. | Arab terror Germany bans group calling for slaying of Christians 28/12/05 |
German authorities have banned an Islamic group, calling itself Multi-Kultur-Haus,
after materials were seized by police, inciting Muslims to slay Christians
and Jews, and to carry out attacks against allied forced in Iraq. From what
I recall, the material included a video that called on Muslims to "kill
the polytheists" (Christians).
Quote: "The state of Bavaria said the activities of the Multi-Kultur-Haus association threatened the coexistence of Germans and foreigners as well as security in the country. "We will not tolerate organizations that are set up aggressively against the constitutional order and call openly for the use of violence," state Interior Minister Guenther Beckstein said. Europe is increasingly finding itself the target of "Islamic extremism". The question is whether that phrase should really be called "Islamic main-streamism", for this extremism seems to be a global problem. Just a few months ago, Muslim youths in both France and Belgium destroyed cars, shops and burned Christian schools and churches (although the latter was never reported by the media, but they did report the attempted reprisal at a Muslim mosque). But Western media doesn't know how to handle the situation. According to the press, when Muslims are killing Jews, Israeli provocation is always to blame. But when Muslims start killing Europeans, who gets the blame? Christians??? Source Jerusalem Post |

| Arab terror 65% of Palestinians favour attacks on US and Europe 27/12/05 |
I received notification of this article from my friend Fred Ambrose...
A new poll taken by a pro-Palestinian Norwegian group FAFO, shows that religious intolerance is running high in Gaza. The poll revealed around 65% of Palestinians are in favour of attacks on Israel and Europe, in spite of their heavy reliance on both these regions for aid. Just last week, Palestinian leaders criticized Javier Solana, the High Representative for the European Common, Foreign and Security Policy, for his apparent double-standards when he stated that Palestinians could lose economic aid if they elected terrorist organization Hamas into power. Europe sinks 600 million Euros a year into the Palestinian economy, and expects something in return. But Palestinians are more willing to see the countries that support their very existence suffer because of their religious hatred for the West instilled into them from an early age. Quote: "Last month (November 18th), in a sermon broadcast on PA-controlled television, Islamic leader Suleiman Satari offered the following prayer: "Destroy the Infidels and the Polytheists! Your [i.e. Allah's] enemies are the enemies of the religion…! Count them and kill them to the last one, and don't leave even one." According to PMW, prayers to annihilate all “infidels” have been included in Friday prayers on PA TV at least six times in recent months. Two such sermons were delivered by Yusuf Jum'a Salamah, PA Minister of the Waqf Religious Authority - the most important religious office in the PA. Even though PA chairman Mahmoud Abbas was present on at least one of these occasions, similar prayers for genocide continued on the PA-owned and controlled TV in subsequent weeks. For the Christian and Jew, this poll comes as no surprise. In reality, there is an intense spiritual battle taking place in the region, with an effort by Satan to wipe out God's people once and for all, so you can be sure this hatred for Israel and the West is inspired by the devil himself. Only when Christ comes, and His enemies are become His footstool, will there be true peace. Genesis 16:12 Source Arutz 7 |

| Israel Contradictory reports about Sharon's health 27/12/05 |
Doctors released a statement a few days ago that Israel Prime Minister Ariel
Sharon is in good health, in spite of needing an operation
performed on a hole in his heart within the coming days. The Prime Minister
was rushed into hospital a couple of weeks ago, apparently suffering from a
stroke. His speech became slurred and he was unable to make decisions,
according to official statements. Some news reports released at the time
stated that he actually lost consciousness, but this was firmly denied by
the medical establishment. The apparent contradictory statements have caused
some to doubt the veracity of the press briefings, and some believe Sharon's
health may be much worse than is being let on...
Quote: "Doctors did not release past medical files or the results of CAT scans or imaging tests from last week that would show whether Sharon suffered permanent damage. Reporters in attendance at the press conference were barred from taking photographs or videotaping documents. Meanwhile, some of America's most renowned stroke experts told WND they are skeptical of the announcements regarding Sharon's ability to return to his hectic schedule and labeled some of the information released by the prime minister's doctors "contradictory." My own grandmother suffered a stroke about a month before she died, although like Sharon, she nor we realized it at the time. Her speech became slurred, as if she was on heavy medication, and her mouth had dropped slightly at one side. She also found difficulty swallowing, which most stroke victims find. Perhaps the Israeli government doesn't want the public to know how serious the effects of Sharon's stroke is, at least until his party Kadima wins the upcoming election in March. | Jerusalem Vatican back-tracks on status of Jerusalem 26/12/05 |
I have just had this information emailed to me by my friend, Fred Ambrose,
in the USA. A statement released by a top Vatican official has revealed a
change in position on the status of Jerusalem. John Paul II, in an effort to
resolve the Middle East conflict, was in favour of Jerusalem becoming an
international city, belonging neither to Jew nor Muslim, but governed by the
Vatican. Many believed the reasoning behind this Romanish desire was in
order for the Catholic Church to place a Pope in the Holy City before the
return of Christ. Now it appears the Catholic Church has shifted its stance,
and has sided with the Muslims. Here are Fred's comments on the report...
Quote: "I just came across a news item through the Arutz Reporter that I subscribe to via email that the Vatican is apparently (or at least according to the Vatican spokesperson in Israel) that Jerusalem should be divided to make the capital part of the new Palestinian State. The Papal representative in Israel, Nazareth native Michael Sabbath, told reporters: “This [partition] wall must not exist. One day it will not exist. The Palestinian people should regain their liberty and land with a state and a capital and the Israeli people should have security.” This statement seems to be in opposition to previous Vatican statements that Jerusalem should be an international city. It looks like the Vatican is dangerously acting in a way that is diametrically opposed to the Word of God and the covenant to His people Israel, which places them in danger of the wrath of God – “those who bless you will be blessed, and those who curse [harm] you will be cursed”. | Persecution Media blames poor Christian turnout in Bethlehem on Israel 26/12/05 |
A recent article run by the Associated
Press and broadcast by the BBC, laid the blame for a poor showing of the
annual Christmas festivities in Bethlehem, at Israel's feet. The recent
erection of the good fence around Bethlehem
(a fixture greatly exaggerated by mainstream news agencies) has kept the
economy poor and visitors out, they claim. Back in 1994 Bethlehem enjoyed
around 150,000 tourists during the season, a number that dwarfs the mere
30,000 that came to the town this Christmas. The Christian population of
Bethlehem once comprised around 90% of the population, but has dwindled
over the last 10 years of Palestinian control, and currently stands at
around 25%. As was seen by the recent attack on Bethlehem's city hall by
Muslim terrorists, the reason for the decrease is not because of Israeli
policies...
Quote: "For years, Bethlehem was largely Christian. But when the PA took control in 1995 it publicly expanded Bethlehem's boundaries reportedly to ensure a Muslim majority, incorporating into the city over 30,000 Muslims from adjacent refugee camps. Then-PLO leader Yasser Arafat unilaterally replaced the Christian-dominated city council with a largely Muslim leadership. Since then, there have been a steady stream of reported abuses and persecution. An aide to Latin Patriarch Sabbah who asked that his name be withheld told WND the PA has been appropriating lands of the Greek Orthodox Church in Bethlehem and building mosques on the formerly Christian land. He said he is aware of several cases in which Christian women were raped and murdered, but the alleged criminals were not arrested. "The Palestinian security forces know who did these crimes. They know where the criminals live. Still nothing to arrest them," said the aide. Source Seattle Times, WorldNetDaily |

| Israel North American Aliyah highest since 1948 26/12/05 |
The Jewish Agency for Israel has reported that the number of Jews that made Aliyah
to Israel from North America this year has reached record levels. More Jews travelled to Israel
this year than at any time since the rebirth of Israel in 1948, a figure now
topping 3000.
Quote: "A planeload of immigrants is scheduled to bring 250 North American Jews to Israel this week. The flight, which is to land December 28 at Ben-Gurion International Airport, is the seventh flight sponsored in 2005 by Nefesh B'Nefesh, an organization that facilitates aliya for Jews from the United States and Canada. It was reported earlier in the year that Jewish emigration to Israel from the UK is also at record levels, around 500 individuals a year. Many believe the reasoning behind the trend is due to increased anti-Semitism that is rearing it's ugly head across Europe and Russia. But whatever the reason, the fact Jews are returning to Israel in spite of the trouble there, proves they are fulfilling a God-given desire to return to their ancient homeland, something the Bible stated would happen over 2500 years ago... | Happy Christmas! |
Happy Christmas everyone! I've just been watching television here in
the UK, and it really is awful. Checking up on the listings, I have yet to
come across any programme that dares to mention the real meaning of
Christmas. I was hopeful while watching a programme on ITV, regarding the
top 10 films watched at Christmas. Phillip Scofield started to talk about a
man that came and brought love and united the world in peace, but that
turned out to be an introduction to Santa Claus the Movie. The only mentions
God will get this Christmas on Channel 4 is "The Magic of Jesus",
a programme by two magicians who will make a mockery of Jesus' miracles, and
"Where was God in the Tsunami?", another effort by godless men to
blame a God they neither believe in nor will turn to for salvation. It's
sad, but from what we read in the Bible, during the tribulation period, when
untold horrors will be unleashed on the world, even then, men will still
blaspheme God, and not turn from their wickedness...
Revelation 6:15-17 Just like Bethlehem 2000 years ago, the world still has no room for Christ. But we can be thankful that around the world, even though it may not be broadcast on the television, or mentioned in the high street, there are people remembering the real reason for Christmas. |

| Wars and rumours of wars US checking Mosques for nuclear weapons 24/12/05 |
US government officials have been checking radiation
levels around Mosques and other key sites in Washington D.C., and in
five other American cities in what looks to be further evidence that the
government believes nuclear weapons have already been smuggled into the
country. The surveillance programme began after the World Trade Centre
attacks, with President Bush's consent, over an apparent concern that
Al-Qaida had gained access to nuclear devices.
Quote: "According to Williams, former CIA Director George Tenet informed President Bush one month after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks that at least two suitcase nukes had reached al-Qaida operatives in the U.S. "Each suitcase weighed between 50 and 80 kilograms (approximately 110 to 176 pounds) and contained enough fissionable plutonium and uranium to produce an explosive yield in excess of two kilotons," wrote Williams. "One suitcase bore the serial number 9999 and the Russian manufacturing date of 1988. The design of the weapons, Tenet told the president, is simple. The plutonium and uranium are kept in separate compartments that are linked to a triggering mechanism that can be activated by a clock or a call from the cell phone." Perhaps we've grown complacent, or perhaps we've grown accustomed to the utter horror of the images from September 11th. It's very worrying that a group responsible for the deaths of over 3000 people in just 1 hour, and many thousands more since that date has possibly got it's hands on a nuclear weapon. But then we only need to look at the Bible, how so many empires have fallen before this one, when God permitted their enemies to gain the advantage after they turned their backs on God. All our nations need to repent of the wickedness we have permitted to go unchecked, and turn to God, for our defences are down and the axe is laid to the root of the tree. | Wickedness in high places Judge blocks law banning violent games for children 23/12/05 |
A Californian
Judge has blocked a law that would have restricted the sale of violent
and sexually explicit computer games to minors. The law, passed by Governor Schwarzenegger,
was due to come into effect on the 1st of January. Companies that flouted
the law would face a measly $1000 fine, for it was perceived that the
current system of self-regulation was not working. But for some companies,
even that penalty is too much. Two computer game firms have gone to court
over the new restriction, claiming this law hinders their rights to
"free speech", and the Judge upheld their complaint, even calling
into question whether any type of video game can be restricted to children.
Quote: "The passing of the law was challenged by the Entertainment Software Association and the Video Software Dealers Association which represent game makers and retailers. The two organisations filed a lawsuit claiming that the law risking breaking free speech statutes. In granting the injunction, Judge Whyte said the two groups could be right in saying it risked breaking such laws. It's sad that game companies peddling porn and graphic violence to children can hide behind a twisted interpretation of the US Constitution. The only reason Americans have a right to freedom of speech, is because they live in a Christian country. If these game companies were to set up shop in China, or Pakistan, or a dozen other nations, they would find the freedoms they enjoy in America would soon disappear. The right to freedom of speech was hard earned by their ancestors, many of whom paid with their lives for their refusal to bow the knee to oppressive "churches" and governments that ruled Europe during the 18th century. Companies that abuse that freedom should automatically forfeit any "rights" they claim to own. Source BBC |

| Third Temple Temple Institute complete High Priest's robe 23/12/05 |
The Temple Institute has announced they have completed the manufacture of
the High Priest's robe. Pictures of the
robe can be seen here.
The Temple Institute have also manufactured many of the implements that will
be used for the rebuilding of the Third Temple, that will be subsequently
defiled by the Antichrist during the tribulation period. Artefacts already
completed include the Breast Plate of the High Priest, the Ephod, the Golden
Crown, the Menorah, and various sacrificial instruments and vessels of the
Temple.
Quote: "This robe is the culmination of over three years of research and painstaking labour. But much more so, it is the fulfilment of a positive commandment - one that until now has stood unfulfilled since the destruction of the Second Holy Temple. This is the first time in nearly two thousand years that such a garment has been created. The blue robe is now on display at the Temple Institute's headquarters in Jerusalem, joining the completed ephod and breastplate of the High Priest. These garments can be viewed by the public until such time as they are called into service for the resumption of the priestly duties in the Holy Temple. The completion of yet another Temple artefact shows us how close we are to the fulfilment of Daniel 9:27, when the Antichrist confirms the covenant, and Temple sacrifices are re-instituted at the beginning of the Tribulation period. | Mark of the Beast Britain to monitor all vehicle journeys by 2006 22/12/05 |
Britain has announced plans to start monitoring the journeys made by every
car in the country, via a national network of CCTV cameras, by next March. A
new database being set up by the police will record the licence plates,
times and locations of 35 million vehicles each day, creating a virtual
route map, which will be stored in a central police database for two years.
Quote: "According to a strategy document drawn up by Acpo, the national data centre in Hendon will be at the heart of a surveillance operation that should deny criminals the use of the roads. "The intention is to create a comprehensive ANPR camera and reader infrastructure across the country to stop displacement of crime from area to area and to allow a comprehensive picture of vehicle movements to be captured," the Acpo strategy says. "This development forms the basis of a 24/7 vehicle movement database that will revolutionise arrest, intelligence and crime investigation opportunities on a national basis," it says. The document is being hailed as a break through in crime investigation techniques, but it represents yet another way in which the British government seeks to monitor its own citizens. Earlier in the year, the British government announced plans to bring in chipped passports, which will be compulsory to hold even if you aren't planning to leave the country - really just a national ID scheme. They were also planning to chip car licence plates, but perhaps a national "espionage" programme will be cheaper to implement. Source Independent |

| Wickedness in high places Dover Judge rejects Intelligent Design as "religious" 21/12/05 |
Evolutionary scientists and the liberal media hailed yesterday's decision, by
a Dover Judge in America to throw out an attempt by a school board, as a
great "victory". The school wanted to permit the
theory of intelligent
design to be taught alongside the theory of evolution. The Judge's decision
didn't come after weeks of scientific analysis as one might expect, but on the grounds
that Intelligent Design - even if it is true, violates the "separation of
church and state". Judge John Jones lambasted intelligent design as "non-science", and
derided the school board for their efforts to "promote
religion".
Quote: "In his ruling, Judge Jones demolished assertions by members of Dover's former school board, or administrators, that the theory of intelligent design (ID) was based around scientific rather than religious belief. He accused them of "breathtaking inanity", of lying under oath and of trying to introduce religion into schools through the back door. But all this "humanist hoo-hah" comes on the day another appeals court Judge made the decision that the First Amendment does "not demand a wall of separation" between church and state, contrary to what many in the ACLU would like to believe. Of course this high court decision wasn't deemed news-worthy by the mainstream press. Quote: "Writing for the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals, Judge Richard Suhrheinrich said the ACLU's "repeated reference 'to the separation of church and state' ... has grown tiresome. The First Amendment does not demand a wall of separation between church and state." Suhrheinrich wrote: "The ACLU, an organization whose mission is 'to ensure that ... the government [is kept] out of the religion business,' does not embody the reasonable person." The labours of the evolutionary establishment to suppress any theory other than their own constitutes a concerted effort to deceive the population, and maintain any semblance of scientific credibility they may have left. Quote: "Our willingness to accept scientific claims that are against common sense is the key to an understanding of the real struggle between science and the supernatural. We take the side of science in spite of the patent absurdity of some of its constructs, in spite of its failure to fulfil many of its extravagant promises of health and life, in spite of the tolerance of the scientific community for unsubstantiated just-so stories, because we have a prior commitment, a commitment to materialism. It is not that the methods and institutions of science somehow compel us to accept a material explanation of the phenomenal world, but, on the contrary, that we are forced by our a priori adherence to material causes to create an apparatus of investigation and a set of concepts that produce material explanations, no matter how counter-intuitive, no matter how mystifying to the uninitiated. Moreover, that materialism is absolute, for we cannot allow a Divine Foot in the door. The eminent Kant scholar Lewis Beck used to say that anyone who could believe in God could believe in anything. To appeal to an omnipotent deity is to allow that at any moment the regularities of nature may be ruptured, that miracles may happen. The US courts claim to be defending the constitution by maintaining the separation of church and state, but in the process they have established one of the most dangerous philosophies in the world, evolutionary atheism. The theory of evolution has indirectly caused some of the worst atrocities in world history, such as the extermination of the disabled, Jews and Gypsy's during the holocaust, and the slaughtering of tens of thousands of Australian Aborigines, in the belief they were a missing link between Homo Sapiens and animals. The theory of evolution sponsors the deaths of 200 million children a year, in the belief that a human being while in the womb is no more than a pound of flesh, to be discarded at will. |

| Mark of the Beast New battery can act as power source for RFID 20/12/05 |
The Japanese company, NEC, has developed a new type of flexible battery
that is less than 1 millimetre thick, and can be recharged in less than a
minute. The revolutionary design is made possible using a type of plastic
that allows the battery to remain extremely pliable. Several applications
for the new battery are already being considered, including a power source
for wearable electronics, and "intelligent" paper. It is also
being offered as a possible solution to the problem of powering RFID chips,
the tiny Radio transmitters that are used to identify goods, and
increasingly, people.
Quote: "The ORB has huge potential when combined with Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tags - tiny microchips that hold unique identifier information attached to a small antenna. RFID tags are now finding wide use to keep track of items in the business supply chain - from the manufacturing floor to the retail outlet. RFID Journal RFID tags fall into two categories - the more commonly found "passive" devices only respond to signals sent to it by a tag reader and have a shorter range. "Active" tags on the other hand can transmit signals and can be read at greater distances but are larger and more expensive since they need a power source. This development has come just months after VeriChip Corp announced the development of a new power source based on thermal energy. Both these devices overcome major obstacles in the way of the increasing intrusion of electronic identification technologies in our society. Applied Digital Solutions have opted for the use of Lithium Ion (also here) batteries in the case of the VeriChip. Quote: "GPS technology took a quantum leap with the development of bionics capable of being tracked by satellite once implanted in animals or humans. These tiny devices, powered by a lithium battery, could be geographically detected, using Radio Frequency Identification (RFID), to within inches anywhere on the surface of the planet. Lithium is employed as a miniature power-plant for the chip since it self-energises through changes in the host's body temperature. Thus the site for the implant will usually be those body parts demonstrating the greatest variations in temperature - in the back of the hand or front of the head. Lithium does have one drawback, experts say. It produces an infection when brought into contact with exposed organic tissue. Source BBC, Campaign For Truth, Wired World |

| Revived Roman Empire EU Constitution to be resurrected in 2007 20/12/05 |
As the UK Presidency of the European Union is drawing to a close, ministers
are meeting for the transfer of power to Austria, on January 1st, 2006.
Austrian MEP's are already talking openly of their efforts to revive the
ill-fated European
Constitution.
Earlier in the year, European leaders said anything and everything to try and convince voters to say Yes to the EU Constitution. Chirac said France would become a non-entity in Europe if people voted "Non", Mandelson said Europe would suffer financially, the Freemason Giscard d'Estaing - who authored the secular-humanist document - told everybody rejection would mean countries would have to spend years renegotiating the whole treaty, and they probably wouldn't bother... What a load of codswallop that all turned out to be. In fact, the European Commission has been secretly adopting parts of the EU Constitution without consent of the public, most recently usurping member states' criminal law, and approving a single internal defence market - legislation that was only to come about on approval of the treaty by all member states. After France, followed by Holland, dealt the death blow to the European "dream", many sceptics had hoped the Constitution was now "dead in the water". The Freemasons of Europe would never accept such a fate. After the "pause of reflection" by European states proposed by the British government, the EU treaty will come up again for discussion in June 2006 under the Austrian Presidency, for possible implementation under the German Presidency in 2007. Hitler would have been proud. Europe has the possibility of being unified as a federal super state under a German government without firing a shot. Quote: "Austria would relaunch the debate on the future of Europe at a June 2006 summit, Mrs Plassnik said. "It was time to ask France and Holland what they intended to do about their No votes, she suggested, as 14 countries had now ratified the treaty. "We need to look at what we want, how we want to live in Europe, in our re-unified Europe, which is coming closer together. EU "An answer will best come, perhaps, if we look at the Constitutional Treaty, because I think it's a fascinating document, that sets out our objectives as a community of values. "The time is ripening now. This is the feeling I get, in my many conversations with colleagues around the table." In Berlin, a spokesman for Angela Merkel, the German chancellor, said its government, which will hold the rotating presidency of the EU in the first half of 2007, "has the clear intention of reviving the European Constitution". | Morals Northern Ireland adopts gay civil unions 19/12/05 |
I really didn't want to write about this, but I guess I've no choice. It's a
sad day in the history of Northern Ireland, in my personal opinion. The
state has become the first part of the United Kingdom where gay
civil union law has come into effect. Tomorrow Scotland will have it's
turn, and then on the next day, England and Wales. Media outlets such as the
BBC and UTV have been praising the new legislation, in an attempt to put gay
civil unions on the same footing as marriage, which sickens me. Not because
I am a bigot, but because I detest laws that are contrary to Scripture and
harmful to society, especially children. But then what can you expect from a
world that lies in the hands of the wicked one? DUP counsellors had their
hands tied behind their backs by the government, forced to abstain in the
voting for the new laws which receive their backing from the European Union.
Quote: "The Reverend David McIlveen, of the Free Presbyterian Church - among the protesters - said he was "very much opposed" to the "marriage in all but name" of gay couples. The Bible described marriage as "a relationship between male and female for the bringing up of children", he told BBC News. "It is revealed as being an honourable relationship whereas the Bible speaks of same sex relationships as being an abomination. You cannot reconcile the two." Source BBC |

| Peace Agreement Hamas victory could cut EU aid to Palestinians 19/12/05 |
Javier Solana, the High Representative of the European Common, Foreign and
Security Policy, has stated that a Hamas victory in the Gaza elections could
hinder EU
aid to the region. The European Union is the largest donor of financial
aid to the Palestinian territories, with a combined budget of over 600
million Euros annually. In last Thursday's municipal elections,
Hamas gained control of three out of four major Palestinian towns formally
run by the Palestinian Authority.
Quote: ""What will happen if Hamas wins the parliamentary elections?" asked Abdel Nasser Najjar, a prominent columnist. "Will it form the next cabinet and become an alternative to the Palestinian Authority? And if Hamas forms the cabinet, how will it deal with the world? And what if the world refuses to deal with cabinet and halts financial aid to the Palestinians?" Hamas, the Palestinian terror organization, still maintains its attacks against Israeli towns. They believe that unless Israel relinquishes control of Gaza's borders and airspace, the West Bank and East Jerusalem, the Palestinian people are still under "occupation" and any attack on Israel can be justified as a legitimate means of resistance. But some Palestinian officials blame the EU for "meddling in their affairs", and think that EU aid should be given regardless of whether a terrorist government is installed or not. Quote: ""This is an unacceptable intervention," Palestinian Economy Minister Ghassan El-Khateib told the Doha-based Al-Jazeera news channel. "They are exploiting the Palestinian people's dire need for aid to influence their democratic choices," he charged. With severe poverty in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, the PA cannot afford to lose international aid. It faces a particular test following Israel's withdrawal from Gaza in September after 38 years of occupation. PA chief negotiator Saeb Erekat echoed a similar position. "This is a direct intervention in our internal affairs ... Mr Solana and others should respect the choice of the Palestinian people," he told Reuters. Hamas, for its part, said Solana's comments reflected a "bias towards the Israeli occupation and a surrender to US pressures." Source Palestine Chronicle, Jerusalem Post |

| Wars and rumours of wars Persian Gulf fears nuclear Iran 19/12/05 |
The six countries that form the Gulf Co-operation Council (GCG), Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the UAE, Qatar, Oman and Bahrain,
are planning to discuss several issues at a two-day summit, including the
Palestinian issue, the assassination of the former Lebanese Prime Minister, Rafik Hariri,
and the creation of a monetary union for the region. The talks are also
planned to include the topic
of Iran's nuclear ambitions, with the proposition of declaring the Persian
Gulf a nuclear weapons-free zone in the hope that Iran will somehow sign up
to the agreement...
Quote: "But what worries the GCC most is Iran's nuclear potential. Many in the West and in Arab countries believe Iran will use its nuclear energy program to develop nuclear weapons. The Arab countries fear such weapons would make Iran a superpower in the region. Iran denies the charge, saying its program is intended only to produce electricity. "We have confidence in Iran, but we don't want to see an Iranian nuclear reactor that is closer to our territorial waters than it is to Teheran. This causes danger and harm to us," the Emirates News Agency quoted Attiyah as saying. Source Jerusalem Post |

| Israel Israeli Prime Minister suffers stroke 18/12/05 |
Israeli Prime Minister, Ariel Sharon, was rushed to hospital tonight after
suffering what officials are describing as a minor
stroke. He was rushed into Hadassah Hospital Ein Kerem in Jerusalem,
after complaining to his son by phone that he didn't feel well. Sharon's
son, Gilad, ordered security to transport him directly to hospital, where
his condition remains stable.
Quote: "Sources close to the prime minister told the media that the prime minister's life was not in danger, but doctors treating Sharon were limited in their reports by Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) regulations. Sharon, who will celebrate his 78th birthday in February, is already the oldest incumbent prime minister in Israeli history. It seems Ariel Sharon's great age and ill health may hinder his ability to lead the country to a final peace agreement with the Palestinians. Perhaps this illness comes as a God-given warning to those who would seek to divide His land? The following verses are extremely interesting, given that the current Prime Minister of Israel bears the same name as the place mentioned in this chapter of Isaiah. Noting the particular references to loss of speech, is it possible that a stroke could be seen as a Divine judgement against the Prime Minister for his plan to part God's land? | Anti-Semitism German Chancellor to visit Israel 18/12/05 |
The newly elected German Chancellor, Angela Merkel, is planning to visit
Israel within the coming weeks, a government spokeswoman has announced.
The trip has been planned to express German support for Israel's right to
exist, following the anti-Semitic remarks made by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad
which received worldwide condemnation.
Quote: "German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier wrote in an article for the Bild am Sonntag newspaper that the president's comments constituted a test for German-Iranian relations. He added that "Iran could become completely isolated internationally." "If Iran wants to be a respected partner of Europe, its president can neither deny historical truths nor threaten Israel," the minister wrote. "Only an Iran that shows responsibility and keeps to the international rules can be a respected member of the international community." Source Jerusalem Post |

| Jerusalem A Muslim friend's thoughts on Jerusalem 18/12/05 |
A received an email a few days ago from a Muslim friend of mine, Mohammed
Islami, regarding his thoughts on the status of Jerusalem. I thought I would
reprint it here (after asking his permission), as coming from a Muslim I was
quite (pleasantly) surprised. His viewpoint, in fairness, would not be
entertained by most Muslims today...
Of all religions it is said that Muslims may be the hardest to reach with the Gospel, for their religion is so similar to Christianity. Yet they believe Jesus was a prophet, and they believe all the other prophets in the Old Testament, so we should really have a head start compared to trying to reach most people that live in the Western world today, who either no longer believe in God or couldn't care less. At least with the Muslims they still believe God exists... The words below are Mohammed Islami's... * They are arguing about "Israel"! Where do their authorities come from!? Future of the Holy Land (Israel) will only be determined by God and His
word not by those stupid in Tehran, UN, ... or those devils in Rome, Qom ...
which they call it Palestine! Israel will always be "Israel" and
there will be no Palestine at all! Trust in the LORD and His word for the Lord shall set his King upon holy
Zion, so the King "shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and
with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked". They deny the
King and the word so shall the King deny them, "but who may abide the
day of his coming? And who shall stand when he appeared? For he is like a
refiner's fire" and "shall strike through kings in the day of his
wrath. He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the earth with the
dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries" and
"the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the mighty men hid
themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains and said to the
mountains and rocks: fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that
sitteth on the throne for the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall
be able to stand?" Let the inhabitants of the earth satisfy with their own lies, toys, idols and graves of their ancestors; Satan glorify their wicked ways in their sights, but who shall deliver them in the hour of judgment!? And to whom can they refuge!? ...that God would give us Christians a desire to reach Muslims. Our Western attitudes must be the biggest stumbling block to reaching the Muslim people for Christ. They need Christ, and they won't listen to us if we are fighting against them. Our feet should be shod with the gospel of peace (Ephesians 6:15). |

| Wars and rumours of wars EU threatens Iran with sanctions 17/12/05 |
European Union leaders have stated that Iran may face sanctions
if it continues to provoke Israel. EU talks with Iran over its nuclear
programme will recommence on Wednesday, and the Europeans have said that the
Iranian President's recent remarks about Israel will be brought up at the
meetings.
Quote: "The EU statement Friday reaffirmed Israel's right to exist, noting that "all members of the United Nations have undertaken to refrain from the threat or use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of any state." But Iraq endured sanctions for 10 years, and the political scandal from those involved in the food for oil programme reached all the way to the President of the United Nations. Unless Russia and China are prepared to throw Iran out in the cold, it's hard to see how any action against Iran would be successful, without international consensus. Just like before World War II, we have a President that is speaking his mind, and if he is permitted to continue in the path he has chosen, Iran and the West will suffer the consequences. Any weapon that is formed against Israel, even nuclear, will not prosper... Ezekiel 38:18-21 Source Jerusalem Post |

| Peace agreement Peres: 2006, the year of peace 16/12/05 |
Former Israeli Labour Minister, Shimon
Peres, met with over 130 members of the European parliament today, at
the annual European Jewish Congress. He declared that 2006 will be the
"Year of Peace" for Israel, and called on Europe to play a bigger
role in Middle East peace. Shimon Peres recently left Israeli politics,
becoming a "quasi-ambassador for peace" for Israel, by dedicating
himself to achieving that aim within the next few years of his life.
Quote: "European Union Commissioner for External Relations and Neighborhood Policy Benita Ferrero-Waldner joined former Vice Prime Minister Peres and EJC president Pierre Besnainou in expressing their hopes that the European Union will continue to contribute positively to a lasting peace between Israel and the Palestinian Authority by promoting economic and political partnerships in the region. Ezekiel 13:10, 15-16 The Bible is clear. Although there will be a relative calm for a few short years, after that the head of the European Union confirms the peace agreement that permits the rebuilding of the Temple, the peace will be short lived, and will usher in the greatest persecution for Israel the world has ever seen. Only when the Jews cry out to their Messiah for deliverance, will there be true peace on earth and goodwill towards men. Source Yahoo |

| Revived Roman Empire Funding crisis slows European expansion 16/12/05 |
European leaders have slammed on the breaks of European
expansion after a 6 month deadlock between nations regarding the next
seven year EU budget. The European budget is being stretched between poor
Eastern countries requesting to join the block, and rich Western nations
that wish to keep their hand in the European pot. Current European President
Tony Blair, is doing his best to resolve the deadlock before his term
finishes on December 31st, but without a major shake-up of the structure of
the European budget, it's hard to see how any deal can be forthcoming.
The British government is expected to have to hand back 8 billion Euros a year from their rebate, while the French have so far refused to give up their farm subsidies which amounts to a massive 40% of the European budget. But so far no deal has been reached. France, along with other nations, are now finding themselves questioning the idea of what it actually means to be European, and a frantic effort is underway to try and define the true boundaries of Europe. Quote: "At the heart of the EU's dilemma is the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, which the summit is ready to declare today a formal "candidate" for membership, without setting a date for starting membership talks. According to a draft of the summit conclusions: "Before any future decision on opening accession negotiations the Council [of EU member states] will hold a full discussion of [enlargement]." | Morals Planned Parenthood covers up rape 16/12/05 |
Planned Parenthood has come under fierce criticism from pro-Life groups,
after a letter appeared on it's website, from a girl that was given an
abortion at just eleven years of age. The girl, now seventeen, thanked
Planned Parenthood in her letter, for keeping her pregnancy and subsequent
abortion a secret from her parents,
which had resulted from her rape. But not only did Planned Parenthood keep it a
secret from her parents, but also from the police, and that means Planned
Parenthood has broken the law - concealing the evidence of a crime. The
letter has now been removed from their website.
Quote: "The Yes on 73 website site provides some of the audio tapes of a Life Dynamics researcher who telephoned 800 Planned Parenthood and National Abortion Federation facilities nationwide portraying a 13-year-old girl who had been made pregnant by a 22-year-old boyfriend. The caller told the clinics she wanted an abortion "because she and her boyfriend did not want her parents to find out about the sexual relationship," a summary of the report stated. Among the findings was that many clinic workers acknowledged the girl's situation was illegal and that they were required by law to report it, but an "overwhelming majority readily agreed" to keep secret the illegal sexual contact. Sadly there seems to be a growing trend of younger and younger children becoming involved in fornication, with images of sexuality constantly blasted at them by the media, being taught "social sciences" out of the context of marriage in schools from a young age, and coupled with big businesses that employ a liberal agenda. Like so many civilizations before us, our society is on a countdown to self-destruction. Joel 3:3 Source WorldNetDaily |

| Wars and rumours of wars Hamas promises revenge for Iranian strike 15/12/05 |
The political leader of Hamas,
Khalid Mashaal, told a press conference today in Tehran that if Iran is
attacked over its nuclear weapons programme, Hamas will carry out revenge
attacks inside Israel.
Quote: ""If Israel plans to invade Iran, then we will intensify our fight against Israel. We are in the same front," Khalid Mashaal told a press conference in Tehran. Hamas recently gained political control of around 50% of the Gaza strip, and continues to launch attacks against Israel. The European Union is planning to bring up the Iranian President's recent remarks about the holocaust in Brussels today. Quote: "The EU summit beginning Thursday in Brussels will address Ahmadinejad's statements "also at our urging," Steinmeier said in the German parliament. The remarks showed "with how much irresponsibility and cynicism the Iranian government currently regards the situation of Israel and the Near East." "I say again: The government in Tehran must understand that the patience of the international community is not endless," Steinmeier said. It appears that the US has apparently also asked Turkey for assistance in any planned strike on Iran. |

| Persecution Democrats come under fire for anti-Christian logo 15/12/05 |
The Democrat party in the United States has come under increasing criticism
over their publication of an anti-Christian symbol on the parties website.
WorldNetDaily reported the anomaly a few days ago. The gaff is just another
confirmation that there is an anti-Christian propaganda machine in the US,
being promoted by people in high places. The Democrats claim the image had
appeared on the party website without being "vetted", and that
they did not even have any of the offending car-bumper stickers in stock.
Quote: "The item — a magnetic version of the fish, emblazoned with flames and the word "Hypocrite" alongside a cross — appeared last week on the Democrats' Web site. It was displayed along with other political-message magnets, bumper stickers and buttons that the party sells. State Democratic Party Chairman Paul Berendt said he first found out about the hypocrite fish posting on Friday when someone from KIRO radio called to ask him to go on the air to give an explanation. "The moment I became aware of it, I insisted it be taken down," Berendt said Tuesday. "I'm sorry if anyone was offended. It's embarrassing." The symbol of the fish representing Christianity is not new. The symbol itself is at least 2000 years old. Many thousands of the graves of the martyrs that lie buried in the catacombs of Rome have the symbol of a fish etched on the tomb stone, as evidence of the undying faith of those who were prepared to lose this life to gain glory in the next. The Democrat party ought to be ashamed of itself, for it has not only mocked millions of Christians who died for the faith, but they are also mocking Jesus Christ. Acts 26:14 Source Seattle Times |

| Peace agreement Advisor: Sharon will partition Jerusalem 14/12/05 |
Ariel Sharon flatly denies
that claim, words that were spoke by a senior advisor close to the Israeli
Prime Minister. Ariel Sharon appeared immediately on Israeli television to
denounce the claims, stating that Kalman Gayer's comments
were "complete nonsense", and that Jerusalem will remain
"Israel's capital forever". But many Israelis who believed
Sharon's promises that Netzarim would stand like Tel-Aviv, aren't so willing
to trust him now.
Quote: "What kind of accommodation remains unclear. Kalman Gayer, another political strategist, is perhaps alone among Sharon's advisers willing to disclose details. The picture he paints is strikingly similar to the proposal Israel's dovish Labor government made at Camp David five years ago, an offer Sharon denounced at the time as "dangerous." In theory, Gayer says, Sharon would accept a Palestinian state in Gaza and 90 percent of the West Bank, and a compromise on Jerusalem, in exchange for peace. But the Israeli leader does not believe Palestinians will be able to deliver peace or make other compromises—like forgoing the right of refugees to return to their old homes in Israel—in his lifetime (Sharon is 78). In the meantime, Sharon wants to "lay the contours of an agreement with the Palestinians," according to Gayer, by creating a Palestinian state in half the West Bank and implementing confidence-building measures. (Palestinians point out that this is a variation on policies that failed throughout the 1990s.) The next few weeks may be crucial for Sharon. He intends to be the Prime Minster to bring about a lasting peace in Israel, and with elections coming up in March of next year, Israelis will have the chance to decide whether they wil trust him to do the job. March will also be a crucial time for Middle East peace. Israel believes Iran's nuclear research will be completed by that time - giving them knowledge of the bomb, and the IAEA is also scheduled to release a new report on Iranian nuclear ambitions in March, 2006. | Wars and rumours of wars Swedish parliament severs ties with Iran 14/12/05 |
The Swedish parliament has severed
bilateral contacts with Iran yesterday, following a request by the Israeli
Knesset speaker, Reuven Rivlin, calling for an international response after
the Iranian President called for Israel to be "wiped off the map"
at an anti-Zionist conference.
Quote: "The Speaker of the Swedish Parliament, Bjorn von Sydow, took immediate action based on Rivlin's letter. "Although being restricted by constitutional limitations to act in matters of foreign policies, I can assure you that I will use every opportunity I have to condemn such statements... I have made sure that we cease all bilateral contacts with the Iranian parliament," Sydow wrote in response on November 14. He ended the letter by asserting: "I am willing to defend the rights of Israel to exist as strongly as I defend the rights of my own country to exist." This comes on the day the Iranian President once again insulted Jews and all civilized nations world-wide, by insinuating, not that there never was a holocaust as before, but now that it was in fact a Jewish myth. Quote: ""They have invented a myth that Jews were massacred and place this above God, religions and the prophets," he said in a live television broadcast. Source Jerusalem Post, BBC |

| Morals Progressive Insurance donates $8m to ACLU 13/12/05 |
Somebody once said the love of money is the root of all evil. In this case
that statement strikes a chord. Peter
Lewis, the chairman of Progressive Insurance, has been a member of the
ACLU since 1972. His firm has just donated a whopping $8.5 million dollars
towards financing the ACLU, a communist organization in the United States
that pits itself against anything to do with Christianity in public life.
Here is a true account of a typical case that the ACLU would take up
(defending the school not the child)...
Quote: "In a Texas classroom, children were told to draw a tracing of their foot, and then put a message on the drawing. One little girl wrote "Jesus Loves Me" on hers. What happened next shows the abysmal state of religious tolerance in America. As Fox news anchor John Gibson relates in his new book, The War on Christmas, the child's teacher ripped the tracing off the board. "Don't you ever do this again," she said. The little girl burst into tears. When her outraged father called the school, nervous officials told the child to make another tracing. She did so-but this time, instead of scrawling "Jesus Loves Me," she drew a tiny cross that was so small it was almost invisible. Similar stories have been repeated many times all over America. The prophetic term, the Laodicean age (the age in which we now live, Laodicea meaning the "rights of the people"), has been taken to the extreme. Even in the UK we have noticed a vast difference in cultural attitudes. Children now know their "rights", and the state enforces their "right" not to be disciplined. And big businesses are in on the act. But we do have a defence against this ungodly onslaught... Ephesians 6:12-13 It's often been said, Christ isn't going to take home a defeated Church. We have the weaponry for the battle. Like David, we only have to put it on. God has already promised us the victory. Source AFA |

| Wars and rumours of wars British MoD fears blowpipe attack in Europe 13/12/05 |
It has been reported that the British Ministry of Defense has purchased
dozens of portable Russian SAM missile launchers, in order to develop
counter measures for civilian and military aircraft. British officials
believe that numerous Russian SAM launchers have fallen into terrorist
hands. British Blowpipe CLOS missiles have also been discovered in countries
like Afghanistan.
Quote: "There have been reports in the Russian press that the SAM has been passed to French terrorists intent on attacking a civilian aircraft in France or elsewhere in the European Union. There has also been intelligence that up to 150 missiles were stolen from a Georgian military depot. Earlier versions of the SAM were responsible for destroying at least eight American and British aircraft in the 1991 Gulf war, an American F16 in Kosovo in 1999 and a Russian Mi-26 helicopter, killing 121 troops it was carrying in Chechnya in 2002. A British Blowpipe was used last year against an Israeli El-Al aircraft, on take off from Kenya. Thankfully the attackers missed the target two times, and potentially hundreds of lives were saved. Apparently the British Blowpipe is cumbersome and complicated to use without extensive training, and its guidance system is limited compared to today's standards. This has prompted Israel to look into developing a civilian counter-measure system to protect their aircraft from missiles. A few years ago, the Labour government also feared at attack at Heathrow, and supposedly scuttled the plans after taking the unprecedented step of sending tanks and troops to ring the airport. |

| Anti-Semitism EU back-tracks on publishing East Jerusalem document 12/12/05 |
Common sense prevailed
in Brussels today, as the European Union decided against publishing the
controversial document authored by British diplomats about Israeli activity
in East Jerusalem. The paper accused Israel of attempting to annex East
Jerusalem ahead of any final peace deal, and even proposed the EU support
Palestinian political activities in the city in an effort to destabilize
Israeli control. Israelis rightly lambasted the document as another one
sided proposal from Europe that attacks Israel over it's security fears,
while mentioning nothing of the Palestinian intifada that is the cause many
of the problems in Jerusalem.
Quote: "British Foreign Secretary Jack Straw, who chaired an EU foreign ministers meeting, said publishing the report now was inappropriate as Israel was heading for national elections and the EU does not want "to get embroiled in domestic (Israeli) politics in the run-up to elections." I personally was shocked when I heard of the document's existence, because it shows how close we are to the fulfilment of Zechariah 14 Zechariah 14:1-2 I wrote a very polite letter to the Prime Minister about the issue, but sadly received the standard Downing Street response, that the Prime Minister receives too many letters to reply to them all personally, and that the matter has been passed on to the Foreign Office. Hopefully this government will see what is going on in the world, and realize that the events spoken of in the Bible are real, and that they need salvation. Source Jerusalem Post |

| Mark of the Beast Ex-Bush Cabinet Minister back-tracks on chip 12/12/05 |
Tommy Thompson,
former Secretary of Health and Human Services for President Bush, after
joining the board of directors for VeriChip Corp, promised reporters that he
would take the microchip implant himself, if it would help promote
acceptance of the device by the public. But according to VeriChip, Tommy
Thompson, who encouraged Americans to take the implant so their medical
records would be immediately available in case of emergency, has not yet
taken the chip himself.
Quote: ""He wants to see it [the VeriChip] in a real-world environment first," said Procter, who said he's trying to arrange a tour for Thompson at Hackensack University Medical Center, the first hospital to implement the technology in its emergency room. But the authors question this explanation. "We would expect Mr. Thompson to investigate the device before advocating it to others," said McIntyre. "It sounds like he has wisely decided to put off the implantation, perhaps due to the serious privacy and civil liberties implications of such devices, or perhaps due to the serious medical downsides, like electrical risks and MRI incompatibility." Apparently, only around 60 individuals in the US have accepted the implant. Two hospitals are also testing the device. But possibly the VeriChip will never really take off, at least until the main opposition to human implants has been removed, consisting mainly of Bible-believing Christians, and those who fear an Orwellian New World Order. The Bible states the Antichrist will cause all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive the mark, and as many as that refuse to be killed. Source WorldNetDaily |

| Morals Bring on the polygamists 12/12/05 |
A "Christian" pro-polygamist
group, Truth Bearer, has been watching the homosexual "marriage"
controversy - now raging worldwide - with keen interest. The group's
founder, Mark Henkel, he believes their "lifestyle" will be the
next to receive official endorsement in law. According to his understanding,
if the courts are prepared to legalize a union between a man with a man, or
a woman with a woman, why not a man with many women? And sadly - although he
has lost his moral compass if ever he had one, he is 100% correct. There is
no legal reason to prohibit polygamy, if gay unions can be enshrined in law.
Quote: "After Canada legalized same-sex "marriage," its government "launched a study to look at the ramifications of polygamy," Mrs. Kraus said. "Once you open the marriage door to anyone other than one man or one woman, you haven't begun to slide down the slippery slope. You've already hit rock bottom." Voters will decide on the measure next November. Although not expressly forbidden in Scripture, the Bible is clear that God intended marriage to be between one man and one woman. But polygamy is still illegal. Part of the reason may be that women often find themselves lured into a polygamist relationship of which they are forbidden to leave, and then they are often ill-treated and exploited. There are many horror stories testifying to this effect from women that came out of the Mormon church. Muslims are also permitted to marry more than one wife, and often their fourth wife may be only 13 or 14 - after the role model of their prophet Mohammed, and this wife may often find herself abused and beaten, losing her childhood and sometimes her life. I think part of the reason for legitimising gay marriage and now polygamy, is to destroy once and for all the last remaining foundation for morality in the world, the family unit. | Islamic Extremism Now Australia gripped by Muslim riots? 12/12/05 |
Australia, a country often commended for it's racial equality, being home
for many cultures and nationalities, has become the second country this year
to suffer from riots linked with Islam. Only this time the news isn't
reporting it as such, but blames white Australians for escalating the
trouble.
Quote: "Thousands of young white men attacked people of Arabic and Mediterranean background on Cronulla Beach on Sunday. The fighting injured more than 30 people, including police officers, and at least 16 people were arrested. The clashes follow an assault on two lifeguards last week, reportedly by youths of Middle Eastern origin. Mobile phone text messages began circulating after the incident, encouraging people to retaliate... New South Wales Police Minister Carl Scully said the trouble had been caused by a group of Neo-Nazis and white supremacists, who had stirred up the drunken crowd. It is extremely alarming that countries at opposite sides of the globe, and as diverse culturally as France and Australia are, seem to have both been inflicted by the scourge of Islamic extremism. And all since September 11th. Albert Pike, described as one of the most evil men in the world, and a 33rd degree Freemason, predicted that in order to bring about a global world government, there would need to be three world wars. He predicted the third would be between Israel and Islam. Could it be that what we are seeing now is in an indirect way, the implementation of Albert Pike's vision? Quote: "Pike's plan was ingeniously simple. The inherent antagonism between different ideologies was to be stirred up and made to explode in three world wars and three revolutions. The first world war was to destroy the three European empires, at that time being the last remaining bulwarks against Illuminism. One of these (Russia) Was to be made a centre of atheist totalitarianism (Communism). The second world war was to erupt from heightened tensions between the Jewish race (and its spiteful Zionism) and extreme European nationalism (Nazism and Fascism). This war would weaken Europe economically and politically and Communism would expand and become as strong as all Christendom, but not stronger, until the time was up for the final destruction of society. A third reason the second world war was to create a Jewish state in Palestine. Gradually it would be possible to thereby heighten the tensions between Judaism and Islam until they broke out in a war which would bring in all of the world powers. Source BBC, The Truth Seeker |

| Wars and rumours of wars UN Nuke watchdog receives Nobel peace prize 11/12/05 |
Mohamed ElBaradei,
the head of the nuclear watchdog, the IAEA, has been awarded
the Nobel peace prize, in, for me, is somewhat puzzling circumstances. The
award recognizes the agency's efforts in the control of the spread of
nuclear weapons. More worryingly, Mohamed's comments upon receiving the
award were the following...
Quote: "On Saturday, the same day UN nuclear watchdog chief ElBaradei received the Nobel peace prize, he appeared to warn Israel not to bomb Iranian atomic reactors. "You cannot use force to prevent a country from obtaining nuclear weapons. By bombing them half to death, you can only delay the plans," he was quoted as saying by the Oslo newspaper Aftenposten. "But they will come back, and they will demand revenge." The report said ElBaradei did not mention Israel, but it was clear he was referring to its increasingly open discussion over whether to protect itself by bombing Iranian nuclear facilities. Are these comments the yard-stick of success by which we should measure the IAEA's achievements? If so, the world has just jumped another minute closer to midnight. If you can't prevent the spread of nuclear weapons by force, and it's clear that diplomacy has failed, is there no hope? Must the world be held to ransom by countries like Iran, that demand a right to nuclear power? What's Mohamed holding the Nobel prize for? Clearly the world is in a worse situation now than it was during the cold war. At least then we had two countries, albeit enemies, that had an ounce of sense, knowing that if one of them launched a nuclear attack, it would spell the end civilization for everyone. But now, we have North Korea possibly possessing nuclear weapons, 40 missing suitcase bombs from the Russian arsenal, life-long enemies Pakistan and India now nuclear nations, Iran currently developing several reactors and converting Uranium - financed by Russia, all while Western nations hold meetings to discuss what they are going to do. Israel has stated that it will still use diplomacy to try and achieve a peaceful solution, but there is no doubt, Israel knows that it would be the first target of for any Iranian nuclear missile, and is probably already planning counter-measures should diplomacy fail... Quote: "The British Sunday Times reported Sunday that Prime Minister Ariel Sharon has ordered the IDF to prepare to attack Iran's nuclear facilities at the end of March 2006, after Israeli intelligence supposedly discovered a number of secret uranium enrichment sites that were disguised as civilian buildings. The article claimed that "military sources" have revealed that "Israel's armed forces have been ordered by Prime Minister Ariel Sharon to be ready by the end of March for possible strikes on secret uranium enrichment sites in Iran."
